I put came home from work today and immediately put my running shoes on. I have one week til my big sis Kady gets here. That means I have just over a week to be ready for our 6.71 mile, Thanksgiving day, run. I, was shocked at how well I did.
Maybe it was the thought of being left behind half way through our run, or maybe it was the lady in my ear on the Ipod telling me I was half way there, 400 meters, 300 meters, 200 meters, 100 meters, or the "You've completed your goal." Either way, I impressed myself.
I wouldn't say that I'm ready for the run but I'm definitely ready to double my distance tomorrow.
