Lesson Learned.

Remember Kyle? Colby's cousin who went hunting with us and went through with a dare to eat the nice warm elk heart? Remember THIS?
I wrote Kyle a check for his $25. I might have lost twenty five bones but I was not going down without a fight. I had one more chance to 'win' and I went for it.

This is the check I wrote out - edited of course to protect myself and my slush fund.
Scroll down and check out what I wrote in the 'For' section.

Kyle took this check to the bank expecting to walk in and walk out with $25 crisp dollars. Not the case. The teller noticed my note and asked for the truth. Kyle insisted that he had in fact, eaten an elk heart, or a portion. She then proceeded to call over all the other tellers in the bank. She showed everyone. They all shared their feelings of being grossed out and completely disgusted before Kyle finally left with his money-
blushing and red faced. I had won.
Somehow this turned out better than my original idea to pay him in dimes, nickels, and pennies.
There is nothing like winning, nothing.
