Lightning @ Bruins Preview

The Boston Bruins have averaged two goals over their last 11 games, but with Krejci back and Savard not far behind (maybe tonight???) them you should see a much better offense in the coming weeks. Until then Tim Thomas has been unreal, and the Bruins are still playing good hockey.

Tampa has been playing decent hockey of late, but I don't trust their defense or goaltending, so I think the Bruins can beat them tonight. Boston's defense and goaltending has been unreal for the most part all year, so if the Bruins can keep guys like St. Louis, and Stamkos then the Bruins will squeak by.

Big thing for the Bruins is to get their forechecking going. Guys like Lucic and Horton are only successful is the Bruins can get the puck consistently deep in the oppositions zone. Those type of guys like the "dirty" goals in front of the net. These will become a lot easier as they get more playmakers back.

Bruins win 3-1
Player of the Game: Horton
Game starts at 7pm on NESN.
