Colby and I made a big move today. We bought our first fridge. I know, big step. So big that we couldn't fit it in the car. Who would ever have thought a mini fridge wouldn't fit in a subara? Not me. I was shocked to say the least.
"Hello!"
"Hi Mom, what are you up to?"
"Just watching some T.V."
"Would you like to do me a huge favor?"
"Sure."
Take note folks, my mom said yes before she had any idea what the favor was.
"We bought a fridge at Wal Mart and it won't fit in the car. Would you be able to drive the jeep over to Clinton and grab it?"
"Sure, let me put my shoes on and I'll be right there."
"You Rock Mom."
"I'll see you soon."
{15 minutes go by}
Colby: "Can you believe all these people that keep driving past and looking at our fridge? It's like they are plotting to steal it!"
Don't worry. We got the fridge home, safe and sound.
I'm sooo glad my mom was home for a few reasons. Mostly because I would have been the one staying at Wal Mart, in the dark parking lot, guarding our beloved purchase while Colby went to switch cars.
