Sabres @ Bruins Preview

The Bruins offense has been hit or miss lately, but Tim Thomas has been so good that it hasn't hurt them too bad. That could end tonight with the Sabres' Ryan Miller in net, who has posted consecutive shutouts, and is one of the best goalies in the game.

Savard should be getting more comfortable every game, and I believe the Bruins have the offensive tools to start putting a lot more points on the board. All that is well and good, but the Bruins need to find a way to do it consistently. The Bruins are only 3-3-2 in their last 8 games, which is kind of a waste with the way Thomas has been playing.

So for Boston it is all about getting their offense going. Boston is 5-2-0 in its last seven games against Buffalo, winning the most recent matchup at home3-1 on April 8.

I think the Bruins get it done tonight, and Thomas has another MVP-like performance.

Bruins win 2-0
Player of the Game: Thomas
Game starts at 7:30pm on Versus.
