The nook.

I'm a reader a real reader. I bought two books a few weeks back and read both in 3 days. I asked for a new on and Colb said I had to get a library card. Let me drag you back to my last experience at the Library. I was 22, wearing a wedding ring, and make up. I had been hanging out with my Mom while J was at work. She mentioned that Logan had a report to do and invited me to the Library to help. In my visit to the Library I found myself enthralled. It had been years since my last visit and I had forgotten what I was missing. Anxious to be apart of this again, I made my way to the front and asked what I needed to do to get a Library card. The lady smiled and me and told me to bring my Mom in and after she signed for me, I could have my VERY OWN card. I told her I was over 18 and asked what the stipulations were now. She smiled and said just bring your mom in. I was mad, really mad. I'll take the compliment but now that you know I'm an adult, you should probably treat me like one.
I'll probably never go back there again.
We were at Barnes and Noble about a week and a half ago 'just looking' Colb found a magazine and I found a handful of books I could later find on amazon for cheaper. As we were leaving my eyes were drawn to a poster. '17,000 Titles. A reader's dream. It was an advertisement for 'The nook'. We let the salesman give his pitch and we headed home. We got to the car, Colby opened my door and noticed I was smiling. He said this very thing. "Let me guess, you LOVE it."
  He knows me too well.
I dropped a lot of comments for a whole week before Colb took me back to B&N to pick out a cover and purchase my very own nook.

I've married a penny pincher who has taught me the love of saving. It's only because of Colby's Excel budget sheet that was created before we set a wedding date that we are where we are. It's moments like this one when I'm grateful for the super cute shoes I didn't buy. (and all the other stuff)
